Huang Quanzhong

 Dr. Huang Quanzhong, Associate professor

  Dr. Huang Quanzhong was born in Sichuan province, China in 1974. He received the B.S., M.S. and Ph.D degree from the College of Water Resources and Civil Engineering, China Agricultural University in 1998, 2003 and 2008, respectively. He also received a postgraduate diploma at the Faculty of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Sciences, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel in Jun, 2001. He was as a visiting scholar at Department of Crop and Environment Sciences, Harper Adams University, U.K. from January to February in 2005, as a visiting scientist in Lisbon University of Technology, Portugal in 2010 and as a visiting professor in Civil and Environmental Engineering, Colorado School of Mines from January in 2012 to February in 2013.

  He became an associate professor in the department of Irrigation & Drainage, China Agricultural University at 2010. He was also the deputy Director Chinese-Israeli International Center for Research and Training in Agriculture since 2012.

  His research interests are mainly on modeling solute transport in porous media, farmland fertilizer and water coupling and simulation, crop and soil response to saline water irrigation, agricultural non-point pollutant, fate and transport of trance organic pollutant in porous medium, application of reclaimed water and it effect to the environmental. He received the award for Young Talented Researcher in 2004 in CIGR International Conference.
