The annual National Science-Technology Award Ceremony was held in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on January 9, 2015, and winners of the State Top Science and Technology Award, State Natural Science Awards, State Technological Invention Awards, State Science and Technology Progress Awards, and International Science and Technology Cooperation Awards were announced. Party and state leaders Xi Jinping, Li Keqiang, Liu Yunshanand Zhang Gaoli attended the ceremony and presented the awards to the representatives of the winners.

　　The achievements from research project “Water Flow Evolution Mechanisms at Basin Scale and High Efficient Utilization of Water Resources”, completed by the Center in cooperation with China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research, Tsinghua University, Haihe River Water Resources Committee, Ministry of Water Resources (the Center ranked the third in institutions, and Prof. Kang ranked the third in individuals), won the first prizeof 2014 State Science and Technology Progress Award; The achievements from project “Research and Application on Specific Fertilizers and associated Technologies in Integration of Drip Irrigation and Fertilization” , completed by the Center withAcademy of Sciences of Xinjiang reclamation, Huili Saving-water Irrigation Co. Ltd. Of Xinjiang, Sanyi Chemical Engineering Co. Ltd. in the Development Zone of Shihezi City, and Fengwang Agricultural Technologies Co. Ltd of Hebei (China Agricultural University ranked the second in institutions and Prof. Li Guangyong and Prof. Huang Xingfa ranked the third and ninth respectively in individuals), won the Second Prize of 2014 State Science and Technology Progress Award.

　　It was reported that China Agricultural University had won total four State Science and Technology Progress Awards, in which one First Prize and three Second Prize Awards.
