Dr. Li Yaojun, Associate professor
Dr. Li Yaojun was born in Jiangxi Province of China in 1978. He received his B.S. and Ph.D. degree from China Agricultural University (CAU) in 2001 and 2006, respectively. He joined College of Water resources and Civil Engineering of CAU as a lecturer in June 2007, and was appointed associate professor in Fluid Machinery and Fluid Engineering in 2011. He was a visiting researcher in Department of Applied Mechanics, Chalmers University and Technology, Sweden, from December 2013 to December 2014.
The general subject of his research is simulation and control of fluid flow in hydraulic machineries for hydraulic engineering and agricultural irrigation. Currently, his research is concentrated on application of scale-resolving simulation model in turbulent flow simulation. Lately, he has focused on hybrid LES-RANS, an approach to make it possible to use LES for engineering flows at high Reynolds numbers.
