  (1) 2007-2010 took part in a Key Program project “The transformation, transport and control of nitrogen and phosphorous in irrigated farmland”, which was sponsored by National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC, 50639040).

  (2) 2007-2011 took part in a National Key Basic Research Special Funds program "Farmland water cycling and efficient water use in agriculture in Haihe river basin", which was sponsored by Ministry of Science and Technology, P. R. China (2006CB403406)

  (3) 2008-2010 took charge of a General Program project “Root water-nitrogen uptake of winter wheat under salinity stress and their effects on water and saline transport in soils”, which was sponsored by National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC, 50779065).

  (4) 2009-2013 took part in a Special Fund for Agro-Scientific Research in the Public Interest program "Research and demonstration of coordinated technological models on effective and safe agriculture in using the saline or alkaline lands in Northern Xinjiang", which was sponsored by Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of Finance, P.
