Dr. Yang Wei, Associate Professor
Dr. Yang Wei was born in Anhui Province of China on December 28, 1982. He received the B.S. degree from Haerbin Engineering University in 2003 and the M.S. and Ph.D. degree from Tsinghua University of Hydraulic Engineering in 2006 and 2009. He was as a post doctor in Tsinghua University from October 2009 to June 2011. Then He became a lecturer in College of Water Resources & Civil Engineering, China Agricultural University. Since 2013 he became an Associate Professor in the college.
His research interests are mainly on the design, simulation and control of the hydraulic machineries for hydraulic engineering and agricultural irrigation. He has developed design and optimization methods to improve efficiency and stability of hydraulic machines such as pumps and turbines, which has been applied to engineering practice. He has published more than 20 papers. He obtained the Award of Science and Technology Progress by Chinese Ministry of Education in 2013 as a main contributor.
