　　Research interests and projects

　　Specialized in the development and application of agricultural chemical water-saving products; core theories and applicative technologies of ecological irrigation district; mechanism and processes of saline and sodic soil reclamation; and numerical modeling of water flow and nutrients transport.

　　Directed or participated in more than 30 research projects, including “The National High Technology Research and Development Program of China (863 Program)”, “projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China”, “Major research program of Beijing” and research program supported by the  Science and Technology Commission of Hebei province, etc.. Additionally hosted 6 teaching reform projects sponsored by Beijing education bureau and China Agricultural University.

　　Published more than 200 refereed papers, 50 of which are indexed by SCI/EI. Edited 6 books and 5 textbooks. Have 10 patents for invention.

　　Awards and honors

　　Honored twice of the second-class prize of National Award for Science and Technology Progress (2010, 2012); twice of the first-class prize of Beijing Science and Technology Progress and four times of the second-class prize of Beijing Science and Technology Progress; once of the second-class prize of Ministry of Agriculture for Science and Technology Progress, the third-class prize of Beijing Science and Technology Progress, the third-class prize of Hebei province Science and Technology Progress and the third-class prize of agriculture technology extension in Beijing, respectively.

　　Awarded once of the second-class prize of National Teaching Achievements, once of the first-class prize of Beijing Teaching Achievements and four times of the second-class prize of Beijing Teaching Achievements.

　　Additionally honored as “Beijing Distinguished Teacher”, “Charming Teacher” by China Agricultural University and “Distinguished Teacher” by Baogang education foundation. Received “special government allowances” since 2007.
